Dr. Paddy Wong is the founder and executive director of Holistic Sanctuary. She serves as the retreat director, spiritual director, certified life coach and teacher of Christian spiritual formation courses.
Paddy holds a Doctor of Ministry from Tyndale University College and Seminary. Her thesis, A Holistic Spiritual Formation Model for Selected Chinese Churches in the G.T.A., aims to help churches build a holistic spiritual formation model.
Paddy also serves as the Program Director of Christian Spirituality Studies at New York Theological Education Center-Chinese Online School of Theology, where she is committed to teaching Spiritual Formation and Group Spiritual Direction for the undergraduate and master’s degree.
Meanwhile, she continues to serve different local churches, both English and Chinese, through the Ministry of Holistic Sanctuary with her Holistic Spiritual Formation Model and nourish a Spiritual Formation Cohort for a full year program.
Paddy has served on the pastoral staff in several churches in the GTA for over 15 years, including Richmond Hill Chinese Baptist Church and Toronto Chinese Community Church. She has taught at the Alliance Bible Seminary Centre of Canada.
In the recent years, Paddy has a passion in Creation Care. She is one of the founders of Creation Care 120, which exists to mobilizing the churches in G.T.A to care for God’s creation and to exercise climate action. In 2019, Paddy was trained under the former U.S vice president, Al Gore, and became a Climate Reality Leader. She is also currently the vice-chair of Markham’s Environment Advisory Committee.
In her free time, you can find her on many hiking trails and conservation areas with her dog and husband, Alfred.
黃李頻頻博士是「心靈聖所」( Holistic Sanctuary) 的創辦人。Paddy 於2018年完成她在天道神學院的教牧學博士，主修靈命塑造 ; 盼望藉着博士論文 「整全的靈命成長藍圖」為各地華人教會帶來靈命的更新; 及藉着不同的 靈命塑造課程、退修聚會、 屬靈導引 及 靈修默想等操練，幫助信徒領袖深化整全的靈命。
Paddy 亦於紐約神學教育中心- 漢語網絡神學院, 擔任靈修學系副系主任，並承擔教授學士及碩士級別的靈命塑造及小組屬靈導引的科目 。 Paddy 曾於多倫多牧養多間華人教會超過15年，包括多倫多華人基督教會 ， 黎明山華人浸信會及愛證浸信會。
近年來，Paddy 十分關注對氣候變化; 在2018年， 她與數位教會領袖, 創辦了 Creation Care 120， 盼望動員大多倫多的教會關心上帝的創造並採取氣候行動。 2019 年，Paddy在美國 受訓於前 美國副總統 Al Gore(戈爾) ，成為 Climate Reality Leader (氣候領袖)。 並於該年，Paddy被萬錦市政府委任成為 「萬錦市環境諮詢委員會的成員」。
Paddy 熱愛園藝，泡茶; 打網球及 踩單車; 閒餘時間，Paddy 常與丈夫 Alfred, 帶同小狗漫步於不同的樹林和行山徑 。
